The results of the SmartWay implementation include scrap reduced by 85%, billet scrap reduced by55%, direct personnel reduced by 58%, downtime reduced by 29%, 22 hours per week of overtime eliminated, output improved by 27%, WIP reduced by 66% and finished goods reduced by 50%.
